ChatGPT answers, unedited
"which software can crawl popular AI assistants and extract sentiment-labeled snippets mentioning my company", asked on ChatGPT about once a day from the United States. The last 22 answers, newest first, exactly as given: the raw data behind the AI Visibility Tools live demo.
Week of 24th to 30th Aug 2026 (in progress)
Yes. What you’re looking for is generally called AI visibility / LLM brand monitoring: software that repeatedly queries AI assistants, detects your company in the answers, extracts the surrounding context, and classifies the mention.
A few strong options:
- nightwatch.io — Tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and provides sentiment + surrounding context, competitor mentions, alerts, and historical monitoring. Nightwatch
- presenc.ai — Particularly close to your description: cross-platform monitoring, captures responses, detects mentions, tracks sentiment changes, and supports Slack/email/webhook alerts. Covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Grok and others. Presenc AI
- pineprompt.com — Runs prompt sets across eight AI platforms and records every brand mention, position, sentiment, citation and competitor. Pineprompt
- gumshoe.ai — More reputation/brand-oriented. Tracks visibility and sentiment across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and other models, with persona and competitor analysis. Gumshoe AI
- mentionsapi.com — Best if you want to build this into your own system. Its API schedules prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity and returns mentions, positions and sentiment. MentionsAPI
- lettertrace.com — Interesting low-cost/open-source option using your own API keys. It monitors ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini and reports visibility, share of voice and sentiment. Lettertrace
What I'd shortlist
If your requirement is specifically “give me the actual snippets where my company is mentioned, labeled positive/neutral/negative”, I'd start with:
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment | Mention context/snippets | API |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nightwatch | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | Yes | Yes | — |
| Presenc AI | 7+ | Yes | Yes | Webhooks |
| Pineprompt | 8 | Yes | Yes | — |
| MentionsAPI | 4 | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Lettertrace | 3+ | Yes | Yes | DIY/BYOK |
One important distinction: these products generally don't “crawl” the private conversational histories of ChatGPT/Claude users. They run controlled prompts against the assistants and analyze the resulting answers. That's actually the useful measurement for brand visibility: “When a prospective customer asks an AI assistant about X, what does it say about us?” MentionsAPI Nightwatch
If you tell me whether you're looking for enterprise SaaS, cheapest option, or an API you can plug into your own data pipeline, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best choices and compare pricing/features.

Answer 2 of 22, 23rd Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 1 tracked brand
Yes. What you’re describing is usually sold as AI visibility / answer-engine monitoring / GEO monitoring rather than traditional sentiment analysis. The key distinction is that these tools actually query AI assistants and preserve the resulting answers, rather than merely crawling the public web.
Best fits
| Software | AI assistants monitored | Sentiment | Snippet/context | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profound | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Overviews | Yes | Yes | Enterprise-grade brand intelligence |
| Gumshoe | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity + others | Yes | Yes | Brand/marketing teams |
| LuminRank | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews | Yes | Yes | Straightforward mention monitoring |
| VisiMatrix | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Mistral, Grok | Yes | Yes | Multi-model monitoring |
| Foglift | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews | Yes | Prompt-level evidence | API/developer workflows |
| Lettertrace | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini | Yes | Yes | Open-source / self-hosted |
Profound is probably the closest match to your wording. Its Answer Engine Insights product queries the consumer-facing AI experiences, identifies brands in responses, and provides sentiment, themes, citations and the underlying AI responses. Its sentiment system specifically extracts the positive/negative framing and the themes associated with your company. help.tryprofound.com
For example, you could monitor prompts such as:
“What are the best alternatives to [Company]?”
“Is [Company] worth the price?”
“What do customers complain about with [Company]?”
“Compare [Company] vs. Competitor X.”
The useful output isn't just “Company mentioned: yes.” You want something closer to:
Company: Acme
Assistant: ChatGPT
Sentiment: Negative
Theme: Pricing
Snippet: “…pricing is relatively expensive for smaller teams…”
Citation/source: example.com/review
Prompt: “Best CRM for a 20-person startup”
Date: Aug. 23, 2026
Profound explicitly supports prompt-level sentiment, themes, source attribution and platform-by-platform analysis. www.tryprofound.com
If you specifically mean crawl rather than query
There's an important distinction. Most of these products don't crawl ChatGPT/Claude like Google crawls websites. They repeatedly submit controlled prompts to the assistants and collect the responses. That's generally the better methodology for this use case because you can reproduce the monitoring and associate each mention with a specific prompt.
If you want both AI-assistant mentions and public-web mentions (Reddit, Quora, news, blogs, etc.), Tutka is interesting: it combines AI citation tracking with web mention monitoring and sentiment/source attribution. tutka.ai
My shortlist:
- Profound → strongest enterprise/PR intelligence option
- Gumshoe → good if you care about personas and competitive positioning
- LuminRank / VisiMatrix → simpler dedicated monitoring
- Lettertrace → best if you want open-source/self-hosted
- Tutka → best if “AI + Reddit/Quora/web” is the actual requirement
If your goal is to feed these sentiment-labeled snippets into your own database/SIEM/CRM via API, I'd narrow the list differently—API access, raw response export, prompt scheduling, and provenance become much more important than the dashboard.

Answer 3 of 22, 22nd Aug 2026, unknown, mentions 2 tracked brands
Yes. What you’re describing is usually called AI search visibility / LLM monitoring / GEO monitoring: software runs a library of customer-like prompts across AI assistants, captures the answers, detects your company’s mentions, and analyzes sentiment/context.
Best fits
- peec.ai — probably the closest match. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews/AI Mode, and Copilot, and tracks mention frequency, position, citations, and sentiment. It can also identify the specific attributes associated with your brand and provides source/citation intelligence. Peec AI Peec AI
- otterly.ai — strong alternative for automated prompt monitoring. It runs your prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI experiences, Copilot and other engines, then reports brand mentions, competitors and citations. Its documentation also describes sentiment monitoring. Otterly Otterly Otterly AI
- peec.ai — particularly relevant if ChatGPT is your priority; it tracks brand mentions and the sources influencing those answers. Peec AI
For your exact use case
I'd lean toward Peec AI if your requirement is specifically:
“Give me the actual snippets where my company is mentioned, classify them positive/neutral/negative, and show me how that changes across AI assistants.”
Peec explicitly reports sentiment on a 0–100 scale, as well as the attributes AI associates with the brand. It also tracks the underlying responses/citations rather than merely giving you a generic “AI visibility” score. Peec AI Peec AI
One important distinction: these platforms generally aren't “crawling” the assistants' entire databases. They repeatedly query the AI experiences with a defined prompt set and analyze the returned answers. That's actually more useful for brand monitoring because you can model the questions your prospects are likely to ask. OtterlyAI, for example, explicitly describes defining a prompt library and automatically running those prompts across multiple AI engines. Otterly Otterly AI
If you tell me your company size/budget and which assistants matter most (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.), I can narrow this down to the 3 best tools and compare pricing, API/export capability, sentiment analysis, and raw-snippet access.

Answer 4 of 22, 21st Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 2 tracked brands
Yes. The category you want is AI search / answer-engine monitoring rather than traditional web crawlers. These tools repeatedly query AI assistants, capture the answers, detect your brand, and analyze the surrounding context/sentiment.
Best fits
| Software | AI assistants monitored | Sentiment | Snippets / raw responses | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OtterlyAI | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI, Claude | Yes | Yes | Easiest all-around option |
| Profound | Major answer engines including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini | Yes | Yes | Enterprise-grade analysis |
| MentionsAPI | Multiple AI engines | Primarily monitoring/data | API/raw data oriented | Building your own pipeline |
OtterlyAI is probably the closest match to your wording. It runs predefined customer-style prompts across multiple AI engines, captures the responses, identifies brand mentions and citations, and provides brand sentiment analysis. Its current coverage includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews/AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. help.otterly.ai
It also exposes a public API, including prompt-level results and citations, which is useful if you want to extract the actual snippets into your own database or dashboard. otterly.ai
Profound is the stronger candidate if you need a more sophisticated research/enterprise workflow. Its Answer Engine Insights dataset captures responses from answer engines and provides sentiment, citations, share of voice, positioning, and related analysis. help.tryprofound.com
One important distinction: these platforms generally don't crawl the private conversation histories of users. Instead, they send controlled prompts to AI search/answer experiences and analyze the resulting answers. That's much more reproducible and legally/technically practical.
If your exact workflow is
"Find every mention of Acme Corp in AI answers → extract the sentence/snippet around the mention → label positive/neutral/negative → save assistant, prompt, date, citation and sentiment."
I'd start with OtterlyAI if you want this off-the-shelf, or Profound/API-based tooling if you want to build a custom monitoring dataset.
If you tell me which AI assistants you specifically need (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.) and whether you need an API, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best options and compare their current pricing/features.

Answer 5 of 22, 20th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 1 tracked brand
Yes. The category you want is AI brand-visibility / GEO monitoring, rather than conventional social listening. These tools repeatedly run buyer-style prompts against AI assistants, capture the answers, and analyze mentions, citations, positioning, and sometimes sentiment. slatehq.com
Best fits for your exact use case
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment | Snippet/answer capture | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Promptwatch | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, others | Yes | Yes | Deep AI-brand sentiment monitoring |
| Intendity | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok | Yes | Yes | Simple cross-model monitoring |
| Prism | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | Yes | Yes | Mention-level sentiment + trends |
| Ayzeo | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Google AI | Yes | Yes | Prompt/phrase-level analysis |
| Brand24 | AI references plus conventional sources | Yes | Yes | Combining AI monitoring with broader brand monitoring |
| Profound | Major AI search/assistant surfaces | Yes/analytics | Yes | Enterprise AI visibility |
Promptwatch is particularly close to what you described: it says it captures actual UI-level AI responses and analyzes whether mentions are positive, negative, or neutral. promptwatch.com
Intendity is another strong match because it explicitly says it captures every brand mention, scores sentiment, and preserves the sources cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. www.intendity.com
Prism looks especially interesting if your requirement is literally “give me the snippets where my company was mentioned, labeled by sentiment.” Its dashboard exposes mention rate and positive/neutral/negative counts by platform, alongside the underlying answers. www.searchprism.io
One important distinction
These aren't really “crawlers” in the Googlebot sense. AI assistants generally don't expose a searchable archive of everything they've ever said. Good monitoring products instead generate a controlled set of prompts, query the assistants repeatedly, capture the resulting answers, and analyze those responses. This matters because answers can vary between runs. www.shadow.inc
So if your desired dataset is:
assistant | date | prompt | exact snippet mentioning Company X | sentiment | competitor | cited sources
I'd prioritize Promptwatch, Prism, or Intendity.
If you tell me your company/industry and whether you need an API/export, I can narrow this to the 2–3 products that actually fit and compare pricing, assistant coverage, API access, and sentiment/snippet export.

Answer 6 of 22, 19th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 3 tracked brands
Yes. What you’re looking for is usually called AI search visibility / answer-engine monitoring or GEO monitoring. The strongest options I found are:
| Tool | AI assistants monitored | Sentiment | Snippet/response-level detail | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profound | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Google AI, Grok, DeepSeek | Yes | Yes | Enterprise-grade monitoring |
| Scrunch | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, Meta AI, Google AI | Yes | Yes | Sentiment + competitive analysis |
| OtterlyAI | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Google AI | Yes | Yes | Simpler/less expensive monitoring |
My pick: Profound
Profound is probably the closest match if you want a serious monitoring system. Its Answer Engine Insights product tracks brand mentions, sentiment, citations, competitors and the actual answers generated by the major AI platforms. It queries the consumer-facing experiences rather than simply relying on model APIs, which is useful because you want to know what an actual user is seeing. www.tryprofound.comhelp.otterly.ai
Scrunch is particularly interesting if sentiment-labeled snippets are the core requirement. It explicitly categorizes brand sentiment as positive, mixed, or negative and lets you drill into individual prompts/responses. scrunch.com
OtterlyAI is a good lighter-weight alternative. It automatically runs your defined prompts across multiple AI engines and detects brand mentions; its current product also advertises brand-sentiment analysis and CSV exports. help.otterly.ai
One important distinction: these tools generally don't "crawl all conversations happening inside ChatGPT." They submit a controlled library of prompts to the assistants and analyze the resulting answers. That's actually the more reproducible approach for measuring your company's AI visibility. OtterlyAI, for example, describes daily monitoring of tracked prompts, while Profound says it captures responses from the front-end experiences users see. www.tryprofound.comhelp.otterly.ai
If your requirement is specifically “give me every AI response mentioning Company X, extract the surrounding text, and label each snippet positive/neutral/negative”, I'd shortlist Profound and Scrunch first, then evaluate their export/API capabilities.

Tracked brands mentioned
Answer 7 of 22, 18th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 3 tracked brands
Yes. This is now a fairly well-defined category: AI brand visibility / LLM monitoring / GEO monitoring. The key distinction is whether you want just mentions or the actual snippet/context + sentiment surrounding each mention.
Best fits for your use case
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment | Snippets/context | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gumshoe | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity+ | ✅ | ✅ | Brand perception & sentiment |
| Promptwatch | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude+ | ✅ | ✅ | Sentiment-focused monitoring |
| MentionsAPI | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | ✅ | ✅ | Building your own pipeline/API |
| Goodie | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude+ | ✅ | ✅ | Visibility + sentiment + competitive analysis |
| Pranas | 17+ AI models | —/some analysis | ✅ | Broad model coverage |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI | Mention tracking | Citations/pages | SEO/AEO teams |
| Nightwatch | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot | ✅ | Mention data | SEO + AI visibility together |
My first three to evaluate would be:
- Gumshoe — probably closest to your exact requirement. It explicitly monitors visibility and sentiment across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity and provides contextual brand analysis. gumshoe.ai
- MentionsAPI — strongest choice if by “extract” you mean I want the underlying mentions delivered into my own database. Its API is designed to schedule prompts, run them across multiple engines, and extract mentions, position and sentiment. mentionsapi.com
- Goodie — good if marketing wants dashboards rather than an engineering project. It tracks mentions, rankings, sentiment, share of voice and competitive positioning. higoodie.com
One important caveat
These products generally don't “crawl” ChatGPT/Gemini/etc. in the traditional web-crawler sense. They repeatedly submit a defined set of prompts to the AI systems and analyze the resulting answers. That's important because LLM answers are probabilistic and can change between runs. sitesignal.app
For example, you'd define prompts such as:
- “What are the best payroll platforms for a 100-person company?”
- “What do customers think about [Company]?”
- “What are the disadvantages of [Company]?”
- “Compare [Company] with [Competitor A] and [Competitor B].”
The system can then retain something like:
Company: Acme
Model: ChatGPT
Prompt: What are the best payroll platforms...?
Snippet: “…Acme is particularly strong for…”
Sentiment: Positive
Competitors mentioned: X, Y
Sources cited: example.com, reddit.com, etc.
If your actual goal is “give me every company mention across AI answers, preserve the exact surrounding snippet, classify sentiment, and dump it into Snowflake/BigQuery/CRM”, I'd lean strongly toward an API-first solution such as MentionsAPI, rather than an SEO dashboard. mentionsapi.com
For a marketing/PR team that mainly wants to see what AI says about the company and get alerts when sentiment changes, I'd choose Gumshoe. gumshoe.ai

Yes. The category you want is usually called AI search / answer-engine visibility monitoring (sometimes GEO or AEO monitoring). These tools repeatedly query AI assistants, save the responses, detect your brand mentions, and classify things such as sentiment, position, citations, and competitors.
Best fits
| Software | AI assistants covered | Sentiment | Actual response/snippet analysis | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scrunch | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, Meta AI, Google AI Overviews/Mode | Yes | Yes | Straightforward brand monitoring |
| Profound | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Google AI, Grok, Meta AI, others | Yes | Yes | Enterprise-grade research |

Scrunch is particularly close to your description: it can show the actual AI responses, brand presence, position, citations, and sentiment, with filtering down to individual prompts and platforms. scrunch.comscrunch.com
Profound is the other one I'd shortlist if you're doing this at scale. Its Answer Engine Insights dataset is built by querying answer engines and includes visibility, citations, sentiment, share of voice, and positioning. It also says it queries the front-end experiences rather than simply relying on model APIs. help.tryprofound.comwww.tryprofound.com
If your requirement is specifically "extract sentiment-labeled snippets"
I'd rank them:
1. Scrunch — probably the closest turnkey match.
You can drill into individual prompts and see how your brand is described, including sentiment and the underlying AI response. scrunch.comscrunch.com
2. Profound — better if you need a larger research/enterprise operation.
It supports sentiment plus keyword themes and lets you analyze how AI represents your brand across models, topics, regions, and personas. help.tryprofound.comwww.tryprofound.com
3. Build your own pipeline — best if you need very specific snippet-level labeling.
For example: query each assistant → store full response → identify company mention → extract surrounding sentence/paragraph → run your own sentiment/aspect classifier → store model/platform/prompt/date. This gives you much more control than a dashboard.
One important distinction: these products generally don't crawl private user conversations. They're monitoring AI-generated responses to configured prompts; Scrunch explicitly says it collects AI-generated outputs rather than people's private interactions. ai-cdn.scrunchai.com
If you tell me your company size, approximate number of brands/competitors, and whether you need an API/export, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best options and compare pricing/features.

Tracked brands mentioned
Week of 10th to 16th Aug 2026
Answer 9 of 22, 16th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 3 tracked brands
Yes. The category you want is AI-search / LLM visibility monitoring—tools that repeatedly run prompts against AI assistants, capture the answers, detect your company mentions, and analyze the context/sentiment.
Best fits
| Tool | Assistants / engines | Sentiment & snippets | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| OtterlyAI | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Google AI, Claude API | Yes—mentions, context, sentiment, citations | Straightforward monitoring |
| Peec AI | Major AI search engines | Strong sentiment/context analytics | Brand monitoring + competitive intelligence |
| Profound | Broad enterprise AI-search coverage | Mentions, citations, answer analysis | Enterprise-scale monitoring |
| Gumshoe | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and others | Visibility + sentiment + narrative analysis | Understanding what AI says about your brand |
| GetMint | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI | Mentions, sentiment, share of voice | Marketing/brand teams |
| AmICited | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Google AI, Grok | Extracts mentions + sentiment and stores full answers | Closest match to your "extract snippets" requirement |
Otterly explicitly says it analyzes AI responses for brand mentions, citations and sentiment, and its API exposes reports, prompts, citations and workspace data—useful if you want to pipe the snippets into your own database or BI system. otterly.ai
AmICited is particularly interesting for your exact use case because it says it stores the full answer, extracts each brand mention/citation/sentiment signal, and can rerun tracked prompts daily (hourly on enterprise). www.amicited.com
Gumshoe is more reputation-oriented: it emphasizes what AI says about your brand, including sentiment and analysis by persona/topic, rather than merely counting appearances. gumshoe.ai
One important distinction
If by "crawl popular AI assistants" you mean literally crawl/index their existing conversations, that's generally not how these products work. They typically submit a controlled set of prompts to the AI/search interfaces, capture the generated answers, and analyze those answers. That's actually preferable for reproducibility. Otterly, for example, describes running defined prompts across multiple engines and analyzing the resulting answers. otterly.ai
For your requirement, I'd shortlist:
- AmICited — best match if raw answer/snippet extraction is the priority.
- OtterlyAI — best if you want a mature monitoring/API workflow.
- Gumshoe — best if the goal is broader AI reputation/narrative intelligence.
- Profound — worth evaluating if this is an enterprise-scale research/brand-intelligence project.
If you tell me which assistants you need (e.g. ChatGPT + Gemini + Claude + Perplexity), approximate number of prompts, and whether you need an API/export, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best options and compare pricing/features.

Answer 10 of 22, 15th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 6 tracked brands
Yes. What you’re describing is usually called AI visibility / LLM brand monitoring or GEO monitoring: software repeatedly queries AI assistants, captures the responses, detects your company/product mentions, and analyzes sentiment/context.
The strongest options I’d shortlist:
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment/snippets | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profound | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI surfaces, others | Yes; mention context, sentiment, citations | Enterprise / PR / brand intelligence |
| Hootsuite LLM Insights | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude | Yes; sentiment, misinformation, narrative gaps | PR/social teams |
| Peec AI | Multiple major LLMs | Yes; mentions, sentiment, share of voice | Marketing teams/agencies |
| Otterly.AI | ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and others | Mentions, citations, competitive visibility | Affordable GEO monitoring |
| Scrunch | Major AI search/answer engines | Brand visibility, citations, competitor monitoring | AI search + crawler intelligence |
| SE Ranking / SE Visible | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI | Mentions, sentiment, prompt-level visibility | Existing SEO teams |
| PublicMentions | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude | Visibility, position, sentiment + snippets | Combining web/social/AI monitoring |
Recent 2026 comparisons specifically identify Profound, Scrunch, AthenaHQ, Otterly, Peec, and SE Ranking as leading options in this category. technologyadvice.comwww.hootsuite.com
If you specifically need “extract the snippets”
I'd pay particular attention to whether the vendor gives you the raw AI response plus the exact sentence/context surrounding your mention, rather than merely giving you a sentiment score.
For example, LLM Visibility explicitly says it provides the exact sentence behind each metric, alongside sentiment, position, citations, and raw responses. llmvisibility.tech
Likewise, Hootsuite LLM Insights emphasizes sentiment, misinformation, and narrative gaps, while DemandSphere's DemandMetrics for GenAI tracks mentions, citations, sentiment, and competitive positioning across 10+ AI engines. www.hootsuite.com
My pick:
- Enterprise/PR: Profound or Hootsuite LLM Insights
- Marketing/GEO: Peec or Otterly
- Need the actual snippets/context: LLM Visibility or PublicMentions
- Need AI crawler behavior as well as answer monitoring: Scrunch
One important distinction: these products generally query the assistants and capture their answers; that's different from literally crawling the private/internal conversation history of ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. The former is feasible and is what this market provides.
If you tell me your company size/budget and which assistants you care about (e.g. ChatGPT + Gemini + Perplexity + Claude), I can narrow this to the 3 best choices and compare pricing, API/export capabilities, and whether you can get the raw sentiment-labeled snippets.

Answer 11 of 22, 14th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 1 tracked brand
Yes. What you’re looking for is usually called LLM visibility / AI brand monitoring: tools that repeatedly query major AI assistants, detect your company in the answers, classify sentiment, and preserve the surrounding text/snippet.
A few worth evaluating:
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment/context | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search Atlas LLM Visibility | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | Yes | Marketing/SEO teams wanting visibility + sentiment + share of voice searchatlas.comnightwatch.io |
| Gumshoe | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity + others | Yes | More sophisticated persona-based monitoring and competitive analysis gumshoe.ai |
| Nightwatch AI Brand Monitoring | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot | Yes, with surrounding context | Teams already using rank/SEO monitoring nightwatch.io |
| DemandSphere DemandMetrics | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, AI Overviews, AI Mode + others | Yes | Enterprise-scale AI search analytics www.demandsphere.com |
| MentionsAPI | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | Yes; exposes mentions, position and sentiment via API | If you want to build your own monitoring/data pipeline mentionsapi.com |
| OneGlanse | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overview | Yes | Open-source/self-hosted approach oneglanse.com |
For your specific requirement
If by “extract sentiment-labeled snippets” you mean something like:
Company: Acme
Assistant: ChatGPT
Prompt: “Best alternatives to X?”
Sentiment: Negative
Snippet: “Acme has limited integrations and can be expensive for smaller teams.”
Competitor mentioned: Y
Date/model: …
then I'd shortlist MentionsAPI if you need the data programmatically, or Gumshoe/Search Atlas if you want a ready-made dashboard. MentionsAPI specifically advertises scheduled multi-model runs and extraction of each mention with position and sentiment. mentionsapi.com
One important distinction: these services generally don't literally crawl private conversations that real users are having with ChatGPT/Gemini/etc. They generate/collect their own controlled prompts and responses, then analyze those responses. That matters if your goal is representative brand perception rather than simply monitoring your company's appearance in AI answers. tracemetry.com
If you tell me whether you need (1) a SaaS dashboard, (2) an API/data feed, or (3) something you can self-host, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best options and compare pricing, model coverage, API/export capabilities, and snippet-level data.

Yes. What you’re describing is generally sold as AI visibility / AEO / GEO monitoring: software repeatedly runs relevant prompts against AI assistants/search engines, captures the responses, detects your brand mentions, and analyzes sentiment/context.
Best fits
| Tool | AI assistants / engines | Sentiment & snippets | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly AI | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI | Yes — mentions, sentiment, citations, responses | Easiest starting point |
| Profound | Broad enterprise AI/search coverage | Strong perception, mention and competitive analysis | Enterprise-grade monitoring |
| Peec AI | Multiple major AI search engines | Response/mention/citation analysis | Marketing & competitive intelligence |
| Scrunch AI | Major AI answer engines | Brand visibility and AI-agent insights | Understanding how AI systems perceive/cite you |
| MentionsAPI | AI visibility data via API | Raw mention/response data | Building your own pipeline |
Otterly is particularly close to your wording: its platform says it automatically sends queries to AI engines, analyzes responses for brand mentions, citations and sentiment, and provides API access to reports/prompts/citations. otterly.ai
If you specifically want snippets, not just a score
I'd prioritize Otterly or Peec. You want the underlying response captured so you can create something like:
Prompt: “Best accounting software for mid-sized manufacturers?”
Assistant: ChatGPT
Mention: Acme Corp
Sentiment: Positive
Snippet: “…Acme Corp is particularly strong for…”
Competitors: X, Y
Cited sources: G2, Reddit, industry publication
Date/model: …
That's more useful than simply getting a “visibility = 37%” metric.
One important distinction: these platforms generally query the assistants/search interfaces and capture their answers; they aren't literally crawling the private conversations of ChatGPT/Gemini users. AI responses can also vary by prompt, location, personalization, model version, and time, so you should treat sentiment as sampled perception rather than a census. Research also finds LLM sentiment classification can be inconsistent with ambiguous or ironic language. arxiv.org
My shortlist:
- Fastest/easiest: Otterly
- Most sophisticated enterprise intelligence: Profound
- Analytics/API-oriented: Peec
- If you want to build your own data product: MentionsAPI
If you tell me your company size and whether you need an API, I can narrow this to the 2–3 products that best match your use case and compare current pricing/features.

Yes. What you’re looking for is usually called AI visibility / LLM brand monitoring / GEO tracking. These tools repeatedly query AI assistants, capture the answers, and analyze mentions, rankings, citations, and sentiment.
Best fits
| Tool | Assistants covered | Sentiment | Snippets / raw answers | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GenTrack.ai | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, Claude, Gemini | Yes | Yes | Straightforward brand monitoring |
| agentMention | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude + other answer engines | Yes | Yes | Visibility + sentiment analytics |
| MentionPilot | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI | Yes | Yes | Alerts + competitive tracking |
| AskLab | ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overview/Mode, Claude | Yes | Yes | Prompt-level analysis and citations |
| Genwolf | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | Yes | Yes | Open-source/self-hosted option |
| GetMentioned | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | — | Yes | Simple monitoring and geographic comparisons |
For your specific requirement—“extract sentiment-labeled snippets mentioning my company”—I'd shortlist agentMention, MentionPilot, and GenTrack. Their positioning explicitly includes sentiment analysis alongside AI-generated brand mentions. gentrack.ai
One important distinction: these services generally don't crawl private user conversations inside ChatGPT/Claude/etc. They run controlled prompts against the assistants and capture the resulting public/model-generated answers. That distinction matters if your goal is genuine “what are users saying about us?” sentiment versus “how do AI assistants describe us?” The latter is what these platforms measure.
If you want actual snippets, I'd prioritize a system that stores the full response + prompt + model + timestamp + citation sources, then labels each company mention positive/neutral/negative. Some products explicitly advertise full-response capture rather than merely giving you a visibility score. www.genwolf.ai
Also, don't rely on a single prompt/run: research on LLM brand reputation finds that sentiment and recommendations can vary substantially by model and language. arxiv.org
If you tell me your company name and whether you need an API/export, I can narrow this to the 2–3 tools that best fit and compare their current pricing and coverage.

Answer 14 of 22, 11th Aug 2026, gpt-5-6, mentions 1 tracked brand
Yes. There’s now a fairly mature category for this: AI brand visibility / AI search monitoring / GEO platforms. The important distinction is that most tools don’t literally crawl private chatbot conversations; they run controlled prompts against AI answer engines and capture the resulting responses, then analyze mentions, citations, rankings, and sentiment.
Best fits for your specific use case
| Tool | AI assistants | Sentiment | Exact response/snippets | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Indexly | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | ✅ Positive/neutral/negative | ✅ | Sentiment + reputation monitoring |
| LuminRank | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews | ✅ | ✅ Full context | Broad monitoring |
| MentionPilot | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, others | ✅ | Prompt-level tracking | Competitive monitoring |
| GenTrack | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini | ✅ | Context/prompts | Real-time brand monitoring |
| Quadrant | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, AI Overviews | ✅ | Detailed analytics | Enterprise analytics |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI | More visibility-focused | ✅ | SEO/AEO teams |
Indexly is probably the closest match to your wording. It explicitly analyzes how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity describe a brand, categorizes sentiment, identifies misconceptions/inaccuracies, and provides reputation alerts. indexly.ai
LuminRank is another strong candidate if you want the raw context alongside sentiment. It advertises monitoring across six-plus AI platforms, with positive/neutral/negative sentiment and alerts. www.luminrank.com
Quadrant looks particularly interesting for a larger marketing/brand-intelligence operation because it exposes sentiment, share of voice, platform-level visibility, and competitor comparisons. www.projectquadrant.com
For a more established SEO stack, Ahrefs Brand Radar is worth considering. Ahrefs says it queries ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews and reports mentions, topics, and cited sources. ahrefs.com
One caveat I'd pay attention to
Don't treat a single AI response as a stable measurement. AI answers are nondeterministic: research published in 2026 found substantial variation in citation/visibility results even when queries were repeated on the same platforms. arxiv.org
So if your goal is “give me every snippet where AI says something about my company, labeled positive/negative/neutral”, I'd prioritize a platform that gives you:
- Raw response capture, not just a visibility score
- Exact prompt + model + timestamp
- The surrounding sentence/paragraph containing your brand
- Sentiment and perception themes
- Competitor mentions in the same response
- Citation/source URLs
- Historical snapshots so you can see sentiment changing
- API/export access if you're feeding this into your own data warehouse
My shortlist: Indexly for sentiment-first monitoring, LuminRank for broad raw-context monitoring, and Quadrant for enterprise competitive intelligence.
If you tell me whether you need API access, a dashboard, or something you can self-host, I can narrow this to the 2–3 best options.

Yes. The category you want is usually called AI search / LLM brand monitoring or GEO (generative engine optimization) monitoring. These tools run controlled prompts against AI assistants, capture the answers, detect your brand mentions, and analyze sentiment.
A few worth evaluating:
- Profound — enterprise-oriented AI visibility/brand monitoring across major AI search experiences.
- Peec AI — tracks brand visibility and mentions across AI search engines.
- MentionGEO — specifically reports AI mentions, competitors, citations, and average sentiment. mentiongeo.ai
- AEOwise — monitors ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Copilot and others, with sentiment and citation tracking. aeowise.ai
- SearchInsight AI — tracks visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Google AI experiences. www.searchinsight.ai
- Genwolf — particularly relevant if you want the full answer + mention + sentiment + sources + competitors rather than just a visibility score. www.genwolf.ai
- GeoBuddy — provides brand checks across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, including sentiment. geobuddy.co
One important distinction
If by "crawl" you mean literally crawl existing conversations/users' chats, that's generally not what these products do. Instead, they repeatedly submit a controlled set of prompts to the AI systems and capture the resulting answers. That's actually preferable for measurement because you can reproduce the tests over time. geopsy.ai
For your specific requirement—"give me sentiment-labeled snippets mentioning my company"—I'd prioritize a tool that exposes the raw/full AI response, not just a visibility score. You want something like:
ChatGPT — Positive
"...[snippet mentioning Company X]..."
Prompt: "What are the best [category] platforms?"
Date/model: …
Competitors mentioned: …
Sources cited: …
That lets you audit whether the sentiment classifier is actually right.
If you tell me your company name and whether you're looking for a cheap/self-serve or enterprise solution, I can narrow this to the 3 best options and compare price, assistants covered, raw-snippet access, sentiment, API, and historical monitoring.

Yes. What you’re describing is usually sold as AI visibility / AEO / GEO monitoring: software runs a library of prompts against AI assistants, captures the answers, detects your company mentions, and scores sentiment/position/share of voice.
Strong options
| Tool | AI platforms | Sentiment | Exact response/snippets | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mentionary | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | ✅ | ✅ | Straightforward brand monitoring |
| GoRank | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, others | ✅ | — | GEO + sentiment/position analysis |
| AskLab | ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI | ✅ | ✅ | Prompt-level AI search tracking |
| GenXtrim | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI | ✅ | — | Multi-engine monitoring |
| GenEngine | Major AI platforms | ✅ | — | Keyword/brand monitoring + alerts |
| Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit | Multiple AI/search surfaces | ✅ | Varies | Enterprise/SEO teams |
| Peec AI | Multiple LLM/search engines | ✅ | ✅ | Dedicated AI-search analytics |
| Profound | Multiple AI/search engines | ✅ | ✅ | Deeper enterprise AEO intelligence |
A recent comparison also puts Semrush, Peec AI, Otterly, Profound, Ahrefs Brand Radar, and SE Ranking among the major AI-visibility products. www.techradar.com
For your exact requirement
If the workflow is:
Run hundreds of customer-like prompts → query ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini/Perplexity → save the complete answers → extract every passage mentioning “Acme Corp” → label each passage positive/neutral/negative → export the snippets
I'd shortlist Mentionary, Peec AI, AskLab, and Profound.
Mentionary is particularly close to your wording: it explicitly advertises brand monitoring across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, with sentiment analysis, alerts, and the context surrounding mentions. mentionary.ai
One important caveat: these products generally don't crawl users' private conversations with ChatGPT or Claude. They run controlled prompts against the AI/search interfaces or APIs and monitor the resulting public/model responses. That's an important distinction if you're looking for actual consumer-conversation surveillance.
Also, don't treat a single AI response as ground truth. Responses can change substantially with wording, model, location, and time; recent testing has found different assistants producing quite different competitive lists for the same question. www.reddit.com
If you tell me your company size and whether you need an API/export (CSV/JSON) rather than a dashboard, I can narrow this to the 3 best choices and compare pricing, API access, platforms covered, and snippet-level data.

Yes. The category you want is usually called AI visibility / AEO / GEO monitoring. These tools repeatedly query major AI assistants, capture the responses, detect your brand mentions, and analyze positioning/sentiment.
Best fits for your specific use case
| Tool | Assistants covered | Sentiment | Exact response/snippet | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ranqo | ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok | Yes | Yes | Strong all-around fit |
| Topify | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews | Yes | Yes | Straightforward brand monitoring |
| agentMention | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude + answer engines | Yes | Yes | Brand perception + competitors |
| GeoVector | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity + Google AI | Context analysis | Yes | Tracking exact prompts/responses |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, AI Overviews, Grok | Some perception/visibility analysis | Yes | Enterprise SEO + AI visibility |
| OneGlanse | ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI | Yes | Yes | Open-source/self-hosted approach |
Ranqo is particularly close to your description: it says it tracks position, sentiment, citation sources, and competitor comparisons across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok. ranqo.ai
Topify explicitly analyzes whether the AI describes your company positively, negatively, or neutrally, alongside the triggering question and recommendation position. topify.ai
Ahrefs is more interesting if you want a large-scale research dataset rather than simply monitoring a fixed list of prompts: Brand Radar uses search-derived prompts and can track mentions across multiple AI platforms. ahrefs.com
One important distinction
These products generally don't literally crawl people's private ChatGPT/Claude conversations. They run their own controlled prompts against AI systems and analyze the resulting answers. So you'd get something like:
Prompt: "What are the best payroll platforms for a 100-person company?"
Assistant: "...Company X is a good option because..."
Brand: Company X
Sentiment: Positive
Position: #2
Snippet: "...good option because..."
Source cited: example.com
Model: ChatGPT
Date: Aug. 8, 2026
That distinction matters if by "crawl" you mean discovering naturally occurring mentions across the public web, rather than systematically testing what assistants say about you.
If your actual requirement is “find every publicly accessible AI-generated answer mentioning my company, extract the relevant sentence(s), and sentiment-label them”, that's a somewhat different—and more technically interesting—problem. I can also give you the 3–5 best APIs/data sources for building that yourself, including which ones provide raw response text.

If by "AI assistants" you mean services like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and similar systems, there isn't a tool that can reliably "crawl" their conversations. Those conversations are generally private and not publicly accessible, so scraping them would typically be impossible or violate the services' terms.
However, there are several categories of software that can help measure how AI systems describe your company by using public interactions, AI search monitoring, or user-contributed prompts.
| Use case | Examples | What they monitor |
|---|---|---|
| AI brand visibility | Profound, Scrunch AI, Goodie | Mentions and rankings in AI-generated answers |
| AI search optimization | Otterly.AI, Peec AI | How AI search engines answer prompts about brands |
| Traditional social listening with AI | Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Meltwater | News, social media, forums, reviews (not private AI chats) |
| Build your own monitoring | OpenAI API, Anthropic API, Google Gemini API | Run standardized prompts and analyze the outputs yourself |
If your goal is to extract sentiment-labeled snippets mentioning your company, the most practical approach is:
- Create a library of prompts (e.g., "What do people think of Acme?", "Best alternatives to Acme?", "Should I buy Acme's product?").
- Query multiple AI models through their APIs on a schedule.
- Extract only the passages mentioning your company.
- Use an LLM or sentiment classifier to label each snippet as positive, neutral, or negative.
- Track changes over time and compare models.
This approach avoids trying to access private user conversations while still measuring how major AI assistants currently characterize your company.
If you're instead interested in public prompts shared by users (for example on Reddit, GitHub, prompt libraries, or search engines that publish example queries), those can be crawled and sentiment-analyzed, but they represent only a small subset of AI usage.
A few limitations to keep in mind:
- You generally cannot crawl ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini user conversations because they are private.
- Some AI search products (such as Perplexity) have public pages that can be monitored, subject to their terms of service.
- AI-generated answers are stochastic, so organizations often run the same prompt multiple times or across multiple models to estimate sentiment rather than relying on a single response.
If your objective is competitive intelligence or brand monitoring, I can also suggest an architecture that automatically runs thousands of prompts across major AI assistants and stores sentiment-labeled excerpts in a searchable database.

If your goal is to understand how AI assistants talk about your company (rather than just how people talk about it), there are a few categories of tools emerging. No tool has complete visibility into every AI assistant's internal responses, so most products estimate "AI sentiment" by repeatedly querying public AI models and analyzing the outputs.
Here are some of the better-known options:
| Software | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Profound | Tracks how AI assistants mention brands, extracts citations and themes, monitors visibility across major LLMs | Enterprise brand monitoring |
| Goodie AI | Monitors AI-generated answers, identifies brand mentions and competitive positioning | Marketing teams |
| Peec AI | Measures visibility in AI search and conversational assistants | SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) |
| Scrunch AI | Tracks AI discoverability and recommends improvements | Content and growth teams |
| Otterly.AI | Periodically prompts multiple AI assistants and reports mentions | Smaller businesses and agencies |
If you're specifically looking for sentiment-labeled snippets, look for features such as:
- Prompt replay across multiple AI assistants
- Extracted response snippets
- Positive / neutral / negative sentiment classification
- Topic clustering
- Competitive comparison
- Historical trend tracking
- Citation/source tracking
If you want to build this yourself, a common architecture is:
- Maintain a library of prompts relevant to your industry.
- Query public APIs for assistants (where permitted).
- Store the full responses.
- Extract sentences mentioning your company using NER or regex.
- Run sentiment analysis with an LLM or a classifier.
- Cluster similar snippets to identify recurring narratives.
For an in-house solution, technologies often include:
- A crawler/orchestrator (scheduled prompt execution)
- LLM APIs (for extraction and sentiment labeling)
- Vector search (for deduplication and semantic clustering)
- A dashboard (e.g., PostgreSQL + BI tool)
One important limitation: assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others generally do not expose logs of what users ask. These platforms can only analyze the responses they generate to prompts that they issue themselves. That means the collected snippets reflect the tool's sampled outputs, not a complete record of all mentions made to every user.
If your primary objective is brand reputation monitoring in AI assistants, dedicated AI visibility platforms like Profound, Peec AI, Scrunch AI, and Otterly.AI are likely to be more efficient than building the infrastructure from scratch. If your objective is research or large-scale analysis, a custom pipeline gives you more flexibility over prompts, sentiment models, and reporting.

If you mean monitoring how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, etc.) talk about your company and automatically collecting mentions with sentiment labels, this is an emerging category often called AI visibility, LLM monitoring, or AI search optimization.
Here are some of the main options:
| Software | What it does | Sentiment/snippets |
|---|---|---|
| Profound | Tracks brand mentions across major AI assistants, analyzes responses, monitors changes over time | Yes, including cited snippets and analysis |
| Scrunch AI | Measures brand presence in LLMs and AI search, identifies opportunities to improve visibility | Yes |
| Goodie | Tracks how brands appear in AI-generated answers and provides optimization recommendations | Yes |
| Peec AI | Monitors visibility in AI search engines and competitors | Yes |
| Otterly.AI | Tracks prompts, rankings, and citations across AI assistants | Partial sentiment and response capture |
If your goal is consumer sentiment rather than just AI responses, traditional social listening platforms are also starting to ingest AI-generated content where available:
- Brandwatch
- Talkwalker
- Meltwater
- Sprinklr
These are strongest for news, forums, and social media. AI assistant coverage varies and is generally less comprehensive than dedicated AI visibility tools.
If you want raw snippets from AI assistants
There are important limitations:
- Most major AI assistants do not expose a public feed of user conversations.
- You generally cannot crawl ChatGPT or Claude conversations because they're private.
- AI monitoring platforms instead:
- run thousands of standardized prompts,
- record each assistant's responses,
- extract mentions of your company,
- classify sentiment or tone,
- track changes over time.
This produces a repeatable benchmark rather than collecting real user chats.
If you want to build this yourself
A common architecture is:
- Maintain a prompt library (e.g., "best CRM", "companies like X", "is Company Y reliable?").
- Query supported AI APIs (or compliant browser automation where permitted by terms of service).
- Store:
- assistant
- prompt
- response
- extracted company mentions
- surrounding snippet
- Use an LLM or sentiment model to label each mention:
- Positive
- Neutral
- Negative
- Confidence
- Topics (pricing, support, reliability, innovation, etc.)
- Visualize trends in a BI tool or dashboard.
This approach is typically more reliable than trying to scrape arbitrary web interfaces.
If your objective is enterprise-scale monitoring across multiple AI assistants with dashboards and alerts, platforms like Profound and Scrunch AI are among the most mature options. If you're building an internal analytics pipeline, combining prompt execution, response storage, and automated sentiment labeling gives you the most flexibility.

| urlGeoBuddyturn0search3 | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity | ✅ | ✅ | AI visibility dashboards |
These platforms generally:
- Run large libraries of prompts against multiple AI assistants on a schedule.
- Save the full or partial AI response.
- Detect whether your brand appears.
- Classify the mention as positive, neutral, or negative.
- Track competitors alongside your company.
- Show trends over time. www.getmentions.app
If you specifically want sentiment-labeled snippets
The strongest options are:
- GetMentions — emphasizes "voice of customer," sentiment analysis, and competitor sentiment tracking in addition to AI visibility. www.getmentions.app
- MentionPilot — stores prompt results and performs sentiment scoring on mentions. www.getmentions.appmentionpilot.ai
- Scandera — focuses on both sentiment and identifying inaccurate AI statements, which is useful for reputation management. www.getmentions.appwww.scandera.com
For enterprises
If you're monitoring hundreds or thousands of prompts per week:
These products tend to emphasize:
- share of voice,
- recommendation frequency,
- cited sources,
- historical tracking,
- exports and dashboards,
rather than just individual snippets. www.techradar.com
If you're building your own pipeline
Many teams instead automate this workflow:
- Generate hundreds of prompts relevant to their industry.
- Query AI assistants through available APIs or browser automation (respecting each service's terms).
- Store every response.
- Use an LLM to extract:
- company mention,
- supporting snippet,
- sentiment,
- confidence,
- cited sources,
- competing brands,
- recommendation rank.
- Load the structured data into a database or BI tool for analysis.
This approach gives you full control over the prompt set, labeling criteria, and reporting, and is often preferable if you need custom analytics or integration into an existing data pipeline.

Answer 22 of 22, 7th Aug 2026, gpt-5-5, mentions no tracked brands
If you specifically want to crawl responses from popular AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, etc.) and extract sentiment-labeled snippets mentioning your company, there are now several tools built for this emerging "AI brand monitoring" or "Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)" category.
Here's how they compare:
| Tool | AI assistants monitored | Snippet extraction | Sentiment | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| urlCleoticturn0search1 | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok | ✅ | ✅ | AI visibility + sentiment |
| urlPublicMentionsturn0search7 | ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity | ✅ | ✅ | Historical tracking |
| urlSiftlyturn0search3 | Multiple AI engines | ✅ | ✅ | Enterprise monitoring |
| urlCiteShipturn0search5 | ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity | ✅ | ✅ | Competitive analysis |
| urlBaseline Labs Brand Monitorturn0search2 | AI assistants + web sources | ✅ | ✅ | Brand perception |
| urlReplyAnchorturn0search4 | AI assistants + social | ✅ | ✅ | Monitoring + response workflows |
These products generally:
- Continuously issue representative prompts to major AI assistants.
- Save responses over time.
- Extract passages where your company is mentioned.
- Assign sentiment (positive, neutral, negative).
- Track share of voice versus competitors.
- Alert you when responses change. cleotic.ai
If you want the raw snippets
Look for products that expose:
- full AI response text
- extracted mention snippets
- prompt used
- assistant/model version
- timestamp
- sentiment label
- competitor mentions
Not every vendor exposes all of these; some only provide dashboards and aggregate metrics.
If you're building your own system
A typical pipeline is:
- Maintain a library of hundreds or thousands of prompts.
- Query each AI assistant on a schedule (respecting each provider's terms and available APIs).
- Detect mentions of your company and competitors.
- Extract the surrounding paragraph or sentence.
- Run a sentiment classifier (or use an LLM with a fixed rubric).
- Store results with metadata such as prompt, model, date, and confidence.
- Compare results over time to detect shifts.
This gives you your own searchable database of sentiment-labeled AI mentions.
Open-source approach
If you don't need a commercial dashboard, you can combine:
- APIs from assistants that offer them (for example, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity where available).
- A crawler/orchestrator (Airflow, Prefect, or custom Python).
- NLP libraries like spaCy for entity extraction.
- Transformer-based sentiment models or LLM-based classification.
- PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch for indexing snippets.
This approach is usually much cheaper at scale if you're monitoring a single brand.
One caveat: many AI assistants do not permit traditional web crawling of their chat interfaces. Commercial monitoring platforms typically rely on official APIs where available, controlled prompt execution, or other methods consistent with the providers' terms, rather than scraping consumer-facing chat pages.
